Our B&B is in an area known for its spa waters and facilities (Terme di San Carlo, Terme della Versilia), in an area of great archaeological and architectural merit, in a location with a spectacular view, in the old city centre. "B&B Il Cuore" is a prestigious dwelling to conjure up the thrill of the past, design with meticulous attention to detail, unique, distinctive style, a period building where echoes of the past blend with modern comfort.

Around the ancient cherry table '800, rediscover the pleasure to share with other guests the start of your day. Framed by a hexagonal floor tiles and a beautiful vaulted ceiling, an old carpenter's bench welcomes all breakfast goodies. Among scalloped trays, baskets and lace sugar, domes wicker and glass backsplashes,...nooks, pastries, rice puddings, torcetti, freshly baked bread, jams and the famous apple pie will make you start the day with a smile. In cups and mugs from tavernas also a ginseng, a tea aromatic coffee or latte will have a special smell, the warmth of the slow pace and relaxed. For friends who prefer the salty taste in the morning, a fragrant focaccia with tomatoes, rosemary and onions and great scrambled eggs. Charming B&B Il Cuore for romantic hearts. Entering this historic building with black and white marble floors immediately makes you feel 'an actress'. Furthermore, every corner is decorated in a warm and original way, evoking early 1900s Liberty atmospheres. The room with direct access to the 'ancient' garden added a pleasant touch. The large hydrangea plants, the mandarin tree, the dense vegetation, the berceau where you are served by the dear Mrs. Daniela, the excellent breakfast, make it a cozy and special location.

Great location, exceptional welcome that helped us visit interesting places. Breakfast served in the internal garden of excellent quality, both sweet and savory, homemade cakes of excellent quality and refinement (walnuts and zucchini!). Spacious rooms, clean, soundproofed with an excellent, very quiet air conditioning service.

I stayed at this splendid B&B for two nights and I had a great time. The people managing it are exquisite and helpful. The structure has a very shabby style, which I personally love. Excellent cleanliness and super breakfast with freshly baked cakes every morning. Excellent. If I had to make a note, I would recommend offering a choice in terms of pillows because, since the mattress is already very firm, a low and equally firm pillow is a bit uncomfortable, but I understand that it may be a matter of habit. Absolutely recommended also for the location, in the historic center of Massa, surrounded by a series of characteristic alleys full of small bars and restaurants.

I stayed only one night but it was enough to enjoy exquisite hospitality and an elegant, clean, and well-kept environment. Daniela, the owner, is very kind, and her colleague is very nice and cheerful. Impeccable service and delicious breakfast. I recommend this B&B. It is of great quality. It's a shame I didn't have time to enjoy the nearby SPA. I hope to come back soon.

A journey back in time! For three splendid days, I relived the magical homely atmosphere of when I was a child; an elegant, romantic, and welcoming room, the linens that smell clean, the always tidy bathroom, not to mention the inviting living room that makes you abandon the idea of going for a stroll in Forte Dei Marmi. To stay there, on the couch in total relaxation. In the morning then, the scent of freshly made jasmine flower tea, the blueberry pie and the zucchini tart, coming from the kitchen downstairs, remind me of the breakfasts my mother used to make. And good morning sounds like music, when I entered the refined breakfast room, I meet Daniela's smile, the "hostess"; a simple but very classy Lady, and with a very rare ability: to make guests feel at ease, to pamper them as if at that moment we were all one big family. Exactly like that, one big family: Beata and Silvia, the two collaborators, nice and helpful; Roberto, Daniela's husband, I believe he is the kindest person I have ever met, and Trilly? Delightful! Now I am at home, it may seem strange but I feel so nostalgic, I will return, I am sure I will return, because in this house I left a little piece of my heart, which is now there, along with all the other hearts made of fabric, gypsum, marble, wood, framing this charming B&B.

Finally a 5-star B&B. Romantic, welcoming, clean, actually even better, fragrant, taken care of in every little detail, delicious breakfast (be careful not to gain weight). Attentive and helpful staff, excellent location (in the center of Massa and under the Malaspina Castle). In short, highly recommended. Congratulations to Daniela and Roberto.

An ideal solution for those who want to enjoy the center of Massa while living in a serene and quiet environment. The rooms are spacious, welcoming, and clean. The breakfast is abundant and very good, which in summer is served in the small garden. Daniela and Beate are very nice to the guests and always make you feel at ease.
